To ensure the utmost freshness and flavor upon receipt, we recommend storing your decadent chocolates in a cool, dry place, ideally around 55-65 °F. For longer-term storage, if you find yourself able to resist their allure for more than two weeks, we suggest sealing them in an airtight container and refrigerating. When the time comes to savor their exquisite taste, allow the chocolate to thaw naturally at room temperature to unlock its full spectrum of flavors. Is the temperature at the destination warmer than 70°F?

To ensure your package arrives in perfect condition, we kindly ask you to arrange delivery to a place with air conditioning, like your office. It’s important that someone is there to receive the package. If not, the delivery carrier may leave it outside, and extreme temperatures could damage your items.

Please keep in mind that even if the temperature in your area is below 70 degrees, your package might travel through hotter regions. So, we recommend using FedEx Express 2nd Day or Overnight options and including ice packs if necessary to keep everything in optimal condition. This way, you can enjoy your order with confidence, knowing it has been handled with care and attention to detail.

CAN YOU ENSURE MY CHOCOLATE WILL ARRIVE IN PERFECT CONDITION?

Each and every Chocolate order departing from our meticulously regulated Chocolate Factory undergoes thorough inspection, ensuring flawless quality. While we strive for perfection, regrettably, we cannot guarantee the pristine condition of your products during transit. Therefore, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for items compromised by extreme temperatures unless shipped via FedEx 2nd Day or Overnight service. To ensure utmost care, it is essential that a responsible individual is present to promptly receive the package and bring it indoors.

OUR SHIPPING POLICY

Warm Weather Locations:

Prior to finalizing your purchase, kindly note the conditions specified on each chocolate product page. Please acknowledge your agreement to these shipping conditions by checking the designated box. Failure to adhere to the agreed conditions during the checkout process renders refunds or exchanges for perishable items unattainable.

When sending to a destination with temperatures exceeding 70°F, it is imperative to select FedEx 2nd Day shipping during checkout. Opting for an alternative (longer transit) shipping method voids the possibility of refunds or exchanges, as it may lead to potential melting of the products.

Typically, between April and September, we operate shipments from Monday through Wednesday using FedEx Ground and FedEx Express services. Orders placed after 12pm CST on Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday. This approach minimizes transit time, ensuring that your order is not retained over the weekend in a non-air-conditioned warehouse, thereby preserving its quality.

During the cooler months, generally from October to March, when temperatures remain below 70°F, FedEx Ground shipping can be utilized. However, we still recommend opting for the 2nd Day or Overnight shipping method to minimize transit duration.

Kindly note that, owing to the nature of chocolate, Sinless Treats LLC cannot assume responsibility for any melting occurring during transit or after delivery if an alternative shipment method is chosen, excluding Next Day Air or Overnight options. It is essential for someone to promptly retrieve the package upon arrival.

Please be aware that deliveries are only available within the 48 contiguous states of the United States. Regrettably, we are unable to ship perishables or chocolate to P.O. boxes, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands. We cannot be held accountable for delivery delays arising from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

WILL A TEMPERATURE CONTROL SLEEVE AND ICE PACKS PROTECT MY CHOCOLATE FROM MELTING?

Based on our expertise, when temperatures rise above 70°F, the utilization of a thermal insulated sleeve alongside ice packs guarantees the safeguarding of your products, provided the transit time does not exceed two days.

However, it’s important to note that once temperatures reach 80°F and above, the effectiveness of the ice packs may be limited to a 24 hours period.

CARE UPON RECEIPT

Store your chocolate in a cool, dry place ideally at a temperature range of 60–65 degrees. Failure to adhere to these storage conditions may lead to the occurrence of “bloom,” a light-colored powdery surface caused by the emergence of sweetener or fat crystals. While the chocolate remains safe for consumption, its texture may be compromised. To safeguard against bloom, avoid exposing the chocolate to excessive warmth or drastic temperature fluctuations.

IMPERFECT CHOCOLATE

Regrettably, we are unable to provide refunds or replacements for products that sustain damage during transit due to extreme temperatures. However, we are committed to ensuring your utmost satisfaction and safety, and thus, we are readily available to provide guidance on the safest and most cost-effective options. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any inquiries or concerns.

In the event that you receive a product in an unsuitable condition unrelated to temperature extremes, kindly reach out to us within 24 hours of the verified physical receipt of the package. Please note that claims submitted after this timeframe cannot be considered for credits or refunds, and it is necessary to provide photographs of both the products and shipping packaging. If a damaged product has been discarded, we regretfully cannot issue a credit.

 

SHIPMENT REJECTION

Please note that due to the fragile nature of our chocolate, we cannot ensure its protection if shipments are refused. If you come across any damage to the package during transit, please inform us immediately.
